Anti Wave Racing Lanes Features and Info:

The MIDI 110mm Racing Lane is suitable for training, competition, water polo and general pool division.
The MAXI 150mm Racing Lane is designed for optimal water dissapation and wave control in high turbidity competetive environments, such as top National and International competition venues.
All discs are made from top specification and highest durability UV Stabilised advanced thermoplastics.
Patented Lane design ensures optimal wave dispertion as well as maximum swimmer comfort and ultimate durability.
Optimised high performance design for ultimate wave dispersion along the lanes.
Designed and tested in Australia to withstand the harshest conditions, for years of quality service.
Cable is SS316 with diameter of 3.1mm and max force of 5kn – allowing higher tension than other brands and more effective wave dissapation than older style ratchet type tensioners with lower tensioning capabilities.

Anti Wave MAXI 150mm Racing Lanes:

The flagship Anti Wave MAXI 150mm Diameter Lane series was developed specifically for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and sets the standard internationally for top performance wave dissipation and creates the optimum conditions for competition swimming and events. The Anti Wave MAXI Racing Lanes have undergone continual incremental improvement since release, with a series of materials and design improvements ensuring the best wave dissipation performance and lane durability for all pools.

Anti Wave Maxi Lanes effectively dissipate the wave energy created by swimmers along the length of the interlocking lane lines and down into the water, creating a low turbidity environment for fastest swim times.

The lane line is assembled with a SS316 hook on one end and the Anti Wave patented SuperTensioner on the other for fastening and tightening to the pool lane anchor. Individual lane discs are assembled along SS316 cable along with the Anti Wave donut float for floatation.

Standard International Training Lane Colours:

Red 5m ends with white and blue alternating.
25m lanes have marks at the 15m position.
50m lanes have marks at the 15m and mid point positions.

All discs are made from UV stabilised advanced thermoplastics.
Floats are from high density polypropylene.
Cable is SS316 with diameter of 3.1mm and max force of 5Kn.
Lane orders come complete and assembled ready for installation with Lanes and Floats, SuperTensioner, SS316 Cable and Fittings
Lane Orders are assembled in either Standard Training colours, World Aquatics colours – or to your custom specifications.
Optional competition Foam Covers available where needed (see below at 2025 World Aquatics event Brisbane, AUS).

Anti Wave SuperTensioner

The original and the best. The patented SuperTensioner is unique to Anti Wave lane lines.

Anti Wave SuperTensioner provides simple problem free tensioning of stainless steel lane cables and lane ropes and is superior to outdated ‘turn-buckle technology’, still used by other lane makers.
Safe to adjust and secure and tamper proof once set at desired tension. No tool to be lost.
Exact tension level of each lane is able to be confirned by quick visual inspection of each tensioner from pool deck. Tension of each lane is locked onto place securely by tension lock collar.
Can’t be released accidentally. All other old style ratchet-type tensioning devices can be ‘tripped’ accidentally, often resulting in a mess of cable and ratchet teeth. With its lock-collar feature, this simply cannot happen with the Anti Wave SuperTensioner.

SuperTensioner Features:

Comes fitted as standard on all Anti Wave Racing lanes.
Easy to adjust. All you need to tension or release the lane line is a few twists of the wrist. There is no ratchet mechanism, there is no wrench to loose.
Can’t be released accidentally. All other ratchet-type tensioning devices can be ‘tripped’ accidentally, often resulting in a mess of cable and ratchet teeth. With its lock-nut feature, this simply cannot happen.
Will not fray the cable. The body of the SuperTensioner is designed to rotate around the cable, rather than the cable being tightly wound around a small-diameter drum. This effectively removes fraying cable, safety concerns and the need for plstic coated cable from the equation.
Saves time and eliminates hassles when reconfiguring the pool. Simple and quick lane removal and installation.
Can be used on existing lane lines. Designed to fit any lane line using 4 mm cable.

Stainless Steel rod with brass ferrule and glass filled polycarbonate body construction.
Threaded rod allows simple lengthening or shortening of lane ropes.
